01 — Overview
This page explains what personal information CarLux collects when you use our website, write to us or speak to our team, why we collect it and what your rights are.
CARLUX GLOBAL LIMITED is the data controller for the information you share with us. Our office is at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom.

- A short note about what you are looking for.
- Documents and references we are required by law to verify before a sale.
- Basic technical information when you visit the site — anonymised analytics, no tracking cookies.

We do not use your data to build a marketing profile and we do not share it with advertisers.
04 — Lawful basis
Under UK and EU data protection law we process your data on one of four bases, depending on the activity:
- Consent — when you fill in a form or ask us to keep your details on file.
- Contract — when we are progressing work you have asked us to do.
- Legitimate interest — when we reply to an enquiry or keep service notes.
- Legal obligation — when the law requires us to keep particular records.
07 — Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete your data, where the law allows.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing.

08 — How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need to in order to provide our services, meet our legal obligations and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we either delete it or anonymise it.
09 — Security
We protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, restricted access and regular reviews of who can see what.
No system is perfect. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will let you know without undue delay.
10 — Children
Our services are aimed at adults and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please write to us so we can remove it.
